Self-Guided Outdoor Architecture Tour: Donation-Based Public Program

Self-Guided Outdoor Architecture Tour of Elmhurst, Illinois

Free to members. $10 suggested donation.

Whether by car or on foot, see Elmhurst's modern architecture on this socially distanced self-guided outdoor tour inspired by the Wright Before the "Lloyd" exhibit (Sept. 10-Feb 14).  Tour our surprisingly architecturally-rich city--the only one with houses by both Frank Lloyd Wright and Mies van der Rohe.  Pre-recorded audio insights by architect Robert Bunda, provide historic context and fun facts for the one-mile route with 14 stops, including architectural gems by Wright, Mies, Walter Burley Griffin, R. Harold Zook, Dirk Lohan, and more.  The web-based tour includes a map, 14 audio stops, and information about the architecture.

This is a donation-based public program.  Please see the pull-down menu above for options.

Within 24-48 hours of your "purchase", you will receive a link and passcode via email to access the audio for the tour.  Do not activate your custom code until you are ready for the tour as it will expire 5 days after you add the code to the website.

Tour Reminder: Please stay on the sidewalk for your tour, and be courteous to our neighbors.
