ONLINE LEARNING: Life Drawing
Following the guidelines provided by the CDC and local public health professionals, we have instated updated policies to ensure our classes remain safe and enjoyable for our students. Below are a few of the ways in which we are adapting to the situation:
- Communication will be key. Staff will send out detailed updates outlining best practices prior to the start of each session including a list of materials.
- Classes will be offered via ZOOM until we are able to safely meet in person based on state and federal guidelines. A zoom link will be emailed to you a few days prior to the start of class.

Fee: $150 Nonmember/$127.50 Member (receive 15% off)/$165 Late Enrollment
(Refunds will not be accepted within 48 hrs of the start of this program. $10 administration fee is charged for all refunds requests before 48 hrs of the start of this program or to switch to another class. $15 late fee will be applied to registrations made after the first class. Drop-ins: No Drop-ins will be permitted until further notice to limit entry into the Ed Center
No online registration for drop-ins. Drop-in payments can be made either by check or cash or by calling the Museum (630.834.0202) during open hours.
Figure drawing is an opportunity for adult artists and AP art students who paint and draw to increase skills and comfort while learning to capture the complexity of the human figure. Students will draw from nude and draped models with emphasis on gesture, proportion, volume, contour line, and composition. Pencil, charcoal, pastels, pen & ink, and ink washes will be covered. Please bring a large drawing pad and your drawing instrument of choice to class. Model expense included.
